blacksmithing lessons

Two people working in a workshop, one hammering and one using a tool on a metal piece, surrounded by tools and workshop equipment.
A man working on a forge, hammering hot metal with sparks flying, in a blacksmith workshop with tools and other workers in the background.

In addition to running a full blacksmith and metalworking shop, I (Sam Perakis) volunteer my time with New England Blacksmiths teaching at The Gilbert Teaching Center in Brentwood, NH. Over several years, I have developed my skills as a teacher and have taught hundreds of students between the ages of 4 and 75 of all shapes and sizes. Your most affordable option for blacksmithing lessons in New England is to join NEB and take lessons on the 2nd and last Saturday of each month between March and November at The Gilbert Teaching Center. However, blacksmithing lessons are available at PIG by appointment only. Get in touch via the Contact page to inquire about rates. Recommended group size: 2-6.
